Welcome to Western Skies Ranch, owned and enjoyed by Mark, Marta and Colton Michilizzi. We are a small family horse ranch, located in the beautiful foothills of Northern California, 45 miles east of Sacramento.

We are proud residents of the small town of Cool. We love our home here in the gold country and look forward to raising our family and our horses here for many more years to come.

We have been involved with the Paint Horse industry for over a decade and have a tremendous affection for this versatile and beautiful breed. Marta has been showing horses since the age of 11. Starting with Arabians, she switched to Quarterhorses in 1992. When introduced to Paints in 1995, she knew she had found THE breed she wanted to stay with and has been hooked on spots ever since!

We specialize in APHA All-Around and Western Pleasure horses that combine world champion bloodlines and family-friendly dispositions. We are very proud of our lineup of mares & showhorses and offer them for your viewing pleasure on our web pages. We occasionally have babies and show-prospects available for sale, check our sale page often.
